I have often pondered why believers do not share their faith and why others do? Why do some people witness frequent "divine appointments" and others never see God working around them? While discussing this subject with a friend over breakfast, the following illustration popped into my head....
When the typical missionary is sent to a "closed" country (i.e.: Communist), they are sent with a needed skill...i.e.: doctor or teacher...not as a Christian worker or church planter.
The missionary is now engaged in secular work and possibly has a secular business card saying doctor or teacher. It occurred to me that on the mission field, their work day looks a lot like my work day. We both are engaged in secular work and carry a secular business card. WHAT makes them a missionary and not me?? Why do they get to send newsletters back home?
It is their OTHER business card! It is their Missionary business card that reveals their true identity, heart and calling. It then occurred to me that my Guns n Roses story (see below) is MY Missionary card. Whenever I have been obedient and carried that story around, God has ALWAYS provided someone to share it with!
Several days later God woke me up at 4:30 in the morning and gave me a vision that I pray will change the world. The problem with typical church attendees of the world is they do not share their faith. Their true identity and calling is their secular business card (or student ID). If they had a Missionary business card and could see God work in the lives around them, God could change their heart, identity and calling.

I have taken the challenge of testing this card idea for the last month. I have been able to hand out cards almost EVERY day. I have handed out approximately 50 cards and have already seen God move in amazing ways.
I was pulling into my driveway and saw my drug-addicted neighbor come out for a cigarette break by his truck. God spoke to my heart and said..."put your money where your mouth is"! 40 minutes later he and I were praying in his driveway!
One week later, I was blessed to lead my coworker to the Lord on Valentines Day! I am convinced that if we are ready, God will use us.

Movie Ticket Example:
Imagine....I own a chain of movie theaters. I know you are a movie lover and I make you this fantastic offer. I will give you unlimited FREE movie tickets. The only catch is you have to give them away daily. Each ticket is valued between $7-10 and you have unlimited quantities to give out. Most believers when faced with this offer would accept gladly and would then make this their part time job.
You would stop anyone and everyone to give these tickets away. The amazing thing is you would never know what movie they would pick (Rated G, PG or R). Do you think your gift would draw them closer to God or farther away?? (Think about what movies are playing right now)
Mission Possible Example:
Now imagine.... You are stocked with Mission Possible Sharing Cards. Each card has a message on the back. Each card is like a ticket that God could use to unlock heaven for someone. This card has unlimited value to the holder if they accept it's FREE gift of salvation. God is able to minister through the card when the recipient goes home and reads your story online and searches on www.AllAboutGod.com. One major reason that believers do not share their faith is that they are un-armed for the battle. Secondly, a normal tract when placed in the hand of the atheist goes immediately into the trash. The normal tract does not communicate the fact that you Care or that you will Be There.

Background:
Mission Possible Cards started when God performed an amazing divine appointment miracle in December 2006. This miracle was powerful enough to refocus my attention back on working with www.AllAboutGod.com . In January of 2007, God woke me up at 4:30 in the morning and gave me a vision that God turned into a worldwide ministry within 1 month.
My personal sharing ministry started in 1989 when I was asked to share my testimony of growing up with the band Guns n' Roses and how the Lord delivered me from that lifestyle. In 1994 I discovered graphic design and started a one-man studio: www.dcfxgraphics.com. My two worlds collided in 2002, when I wrote down my story, rekindled my relationship with Chris Weber (from the band) and the story was published in my local paper.
Now I have a Photo brochure that combines my testimony with photos I took of the band. Believe it or not...I have been using Axl Rose and Guns n' Roses to share the gospel for the last 5 years! God definitely has a sense of humor!
In 2006, I discovered a great new ministry website: www.AllAboutGod.com. The website was started 5 years ago at Saddleback Church (Pastor Rick Warren, author of The Purpose Driven Life). The website has now grown to over 13,000 pages! Last year alone, over 20 million page views resulted in almost 3 million reading the gospel and over 30,000 people were saved or rededicated their lives to Christ!
My ultimate vision is a central website where believers can share their stories from the front lines and encourage others to share their faith. My vision is to equip multiple thousands (millions?) of sharing lay-missionaries in every country around the world. Mission Possible and AllAboutGod.com are non-denominational and could be used to unify the body of Christ.
